3rd May saw 42 women compete in the Joyce Berry 4BBB Par Championships at Meeniyan Golf Club. This event has been held annually for over 40 years: Joyce Berry, in whose honour the event is held, was a Captain and Champion at Wonthaggi Golf Club for many years as well as holding long term positions as a South Gippsland delegate and Country teams member.

The Minor Scratch was won by Fran McGlead and Kylie Collins from Foster Golf Club with 97. Fran and Kylie won the same event at Foster Golf Club last year.
Meeniyan Captain, Irene Holm, and Vice-Captain Susan Straw combined extremely well to win the A Grade Handicap event with +4. There weren’t many positive scores to be had on the day. The B Grade Handicap winners were Heather McCaughan and Louise Villerman with +1.
