Round 3, 19th October
Round three of the Victorian Junior Pennant Series was held at Lang Lang GC on Sunday, the unbeaten Sharks taking on the Spring Valley Scorpions.
Despite their best efforts the Sharks were defeated 4.5/1.5.

This week we play at Warragul GC, and with only two rounds to go we need wins to make the finals.

Round 2, 12th October
Round Two of the Victorian Junior Pennant Series was hosted at Phillip Island on Sunday between Settlers Run and the South Gippsland Sharks.
In a close battle, the Sharks overcame their visitors 3.5 to 2.5 to be at the top of the ladder in our section.
Highlights: Levi Perkins draining an 18-foot birdie putt on the 17th to win 2&1, Phillip Island’s Harry Bentley winning 6&4 in his first junior pennant outing for the Sharks.
Win two wins each, the match came down to the efforts of juniors Cody Naismith and Thomas Simon. Thomas was five down after nine but battled throughout to get a half, whilst Cody Naismith was one-down with three to go – exactly the moment a huge storm smashed through the island – but managed to get the win one-up on the 18th to win the match for the Sharks. Well done boys!!
Thomas’ dad Brendan said later: “It was his first big struggle being down by so much and not believing he could climb back up the mountain. I knew he could turn it around if he could get his game back on track, and once the momentum changed he had a spring in his step and kept it going. I hope he learned a lot. Never ever give up. It’s never over till it’s over”.
Round 1, 5th October 2025
Woorayl Golf Club hosted the first round of the Victorian junior pennant series on Sunday, with the South Gippsland Sharks taking on Rossdale GC in challenging, windy conditions.
The Sharks proved too strong on home turf to take the win 4/2.
