Sunday 8 September saw the 2024 Country Teams fundraising Ambrose day held at Wonthaggi.
The blustery winds returned, blowing all day, and with the soft, wet course every player faced a challenging day.
The organisers were delighted to have a large field of 21 teams of either men, women or mixed combinations.
Ambrose usually means some low scores and the Men’s winners from Ranfurlie of Grant Baylis, Angus & Jaime Ricardo and Jason Driscoll certainly proved this with a great 57(2)55 net.
The Mixed combination winners were a team from Wonthaggi – Craig Harvey, Wendy Cross, Steve Brann and Layla Robertson 59.625 net
The Women team winners were Meeniyan team Andrea Thorson, Irene Holm, Tanya Thorson, Susan Straw 67.875 net.

The funds raised today will be used to support our Men’s and Women’s teams at Country Week. We wish them well.
