Sixty Eight golfers competed in the Maree Anderson SGGI Opening Day at Foster Golf Club today in a 4BBB format. The winners of A Grade were Veronica Park and Heather Poletti from Meeniyan Golf Club with 50 points. Kylie Collins and Geraldine Sinclair, from Foster Golf Club, were the runners up with 47 points on a countback.
B Grade was won by the Phillip Island pairing of Liz Gleeson and Marilyn John with 52 points. And…just an incy wincy wee bit behind were Fay Quilford and Sue Woods from Leongatha Golf Club on 50 points on a countback.

The South Gippsland Golf Inc. committee extend thanks to Foster Golf Club for hosting the Day – with the course providing plenty of summer run for all – and acknowledge the contribution put in by first time ever Captain Jenny Alexander. All made for an extremely pleasant day.
