2025 Womens Joyce Berry Fourball Par

On Friday 9th Sept. 2025 at Leongatha Golf Club, fifty-six women participated in the SGGI Joyce Berry 4BBB Par Championship, in extremely windy conditions.

The event, established over 40 years ago, recognises Joyce Berry, a South Gippsland Golf Life Member, former Wonthaggi Golf Club Captain, Champion, and South Gippsland delegate.

Most clubs in the district were represented, and prize winners came from various clubs.

Robyn Galloway and Beth Curram from Foster Golf Club won the Joyce Berry 4BBB Par Championship with a scratch score of 85. The Minor Scratch was awarded to Elly Berryman and Sherrill Winkler from Woorayl Golf Club, who scored 94. 

The Meeniyan GC combination of Irene Holm and Heather Poletti won the A Grade Handicap event with +4.
The B Grade Handicap winners were Maryann Gartner and Alison Strong from the host club, Leongatha, with +5, on a count back.

Down the line balls went to: Jenny McRae and Andrea Grenville Wonthaggi GC, Patsy Britt and Marg Ryan Wonthaggi GC (+5), Bronwyn Debenham and Jenny Fraser Leongatha GC, Coralie Baker and Karen Orford Leongatha GC (+4), Carole Satori and Donna Brosnan Wonthaggi GC (+3), Heather Grist and Debbie Wrigley Korumburra GC, Lynda Bassett and Cheryl Borg and Joc Howson and Lianne Adamson Leongatha GC (+2).

Nearest the Pins went to Kylie Collins on the 7th, Sue Straw from Meeniyan GC on the 14th and Elly Berryman was nearest to the flag on the 16th.
