2023 SGGI Country Week Teams Fundraiser

7th May. The inaugural Country Week Teams Fundraiser event was held at Phillip Island Golf Club on Sunday 7th May. A fantastic turnout of golfers from around the South Gippsland District and beyond participated in the 4 person Ambrose format. The ‘island’ certainly turned on some wonderful weather for the 26 teams despite other areas in close proximity receiving hail and rain during the morning – everyone remained dry and even blue skies appeared.

The support received from local businesses was greatly appreciated and acknowledged on the day – thanks to Hartley Wells Betta Home Living, BJS Insurance, Shans Lingerie and Drummond Golf Traralgon who made great contributions. There were sought-after raffle prizes also that had been donated – with rounds of golf from Cranbourne Golf Club & Settlers Run. We thank all these businesses and ask that when you are able – to please support them with your purchasing. We also thank Irene Holm for her personal donation of a Drummond’s Voucher.
